Gary Finley, Sr.

Gary Finley has dedicated his life to serving his community and anyone else he came across. After serving the city of Birmingham for an impeccable three decades, from police officer to lieutenant, he finally decided to retire in 2010. Even though he retired comfortably, he made the decision to continue giving back to the community. In 2011, when Equitable Advisors was still AXA Advisors, Mr. Finley went under contract and became a financial professional. Inspired by his own retirement experience, he realized that there was a substantial need for personalized, continuous, and adequate suggestion when it came to the retirement process. Decisions that he made decades previously suddenly became the some of the most important aspects of his financial future. Being the avid planner that he's always been, he planned his retirement over the length of his career and found himself right where he wanted to be when the time came. Gary Finley has spent his life helping people and that's a natural part of who he is. The care and time that he devotes to every client is a part of his daily life and ultimately, who he is as a person.
